Hanover Public Schools 2024-2025 Calendar Updates 4/19/24

The last day of school for this current school year will be Monday, June 17, 2024. Our last day will be an early release day, and no lunch will be served.

HPS 2024-2025 School Calendar

We are pleased to provide you with our Hanover Public Schools 2024-2025 School Calendar, approved at the last School Committee meeting. The calendar includes the first day of school, holidays, vacation dates, graduation day, and the anticipated last day of school.

As we approach the summer, the calendar will include additional events (open houses, conferences, academic term ending dates, etc.).  

Important Upcoming School Committee Meeting Regarding the 2024-2025 (FY25) School Department Budget

On Wednesday, April 24, 2024, the Hanover Public Schools administration will provide the School Committee with an update on the impact of the proposed budget cuts for next year, along with options available to the Committee in order to close a portion of the projected budget shortfall if the override budget is eventually not supported. This update will include additional information on potential fees, cuts to activities, and a review of the recent Reduction in Force (layoff) notifications. 

This meeting will begin at 6:00 PM* and will allow time for public comment and Q&A regarding the FY25 budget. Please join us for this important and timely information session regarding the proposed budget and the impact of the projected shortfall.

*The meeting start time has been adjusted to 6:00 PM to support our music students and accommodate community members and staff attending the Hanover High School Spring Concert at 7:00 PM that evening.
