Hanover High School Course Registration 4/9/21

On Monday, April 12th, all students will be able to log into their student Aspen accounts to register for high school courses.

The Program provides detailed information on our HHS Pathways, graduation requirements, and school policies; for our present purposes, it includes descriptions for every course offering at HHS. Supplementing the Program of Studies, we initiated a “curriculum corner” on our website, and we’re in the process of developing, collecting, and posting teacher-generated documents and videos which highlight select electives and advanced placement courses in greater detail.

Within each student's Aspen account, teachers have made recommendations regarding course levels for next year.  These recommendations are based on a student's performance, observed potential, and work ethic. Students have until  Friday, April 16th to register. Students are encouraged to go online and register earlier rather than later. For a tutorial on how to register for classes, please watch our Course Registration in Aspen video.

In addition, I’ve included an informational sheet with written instructions on how to input courses.

The counseling department has been working hard to start academic, college, and career counseling as early as possible in an effort to best prepare students for their futures; to that end, guidance has created a Google Classroom page for each class year, and they encourage all students to join their respective classroom page if they have not done so already. To join, please reach out to the student’s guidance counselor for the access code. We’re continuously posting information on course registration, college and career planning, and all other important information.

That’s it for now.  Be warm.  Be safe.
