Hanover High School Eighth Grade Open House 12/18/20
First and foremost, thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to bring you insight and information about Hanover High School.
Traditionally, the high school would hold an 8th grade Open House in-person sometime in December or January, usually from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. All 8th grade families would always be invited to attend. We would have the HHS Jazz Band performing, while all clubs, activities, and athletic opportunities would be on display. As well, we would have asked several senior students to have created a video introduction for the 8th graders that captures the vibrancy of student life at the high school. We would hold presentations in the auditorium and student-guided tours throughout the building, where teachers and students alike would be presenting curriculum and demonstrating academic activities.
As you know, however, we cannot support an event as such this year for obvious reasons. Instead, we collected past 8th grade Open House video presentations and interwove them into one, new introductory video that recognizes faces from the past, takes a look at the present, and invites you to “take a seat” in the future here at Hanover High School.

Finally, HHS administration will be available via Zoom this coming Monday at 4:00 pm to field any follow-up questions you may have or to help you understand better any and all aspects of life at Hanover High School.
I’ll send the Zoom link in a follow-up email, and any other pertinent information well in advance of the 4:00 pm meeting.
