Hanover High School Math MCAS Schedule 5/9/22

This update contains information about the Math MCAS scheduled for the week of May 16, 2022.
Who is taking the test?
- 181 Sophomores and 6 Juniors.
When is the test?
- Tuesday, May 17th, and Wednesday, May 18th (during periods 1-4).
- Students must be in school on both testing days.
Where is the test?
- Most of the testing rooms will be on the 3rd floor (rooms 301-317).
- There will be signs posted in the foyer so you know which room to go to for your test.
- A few conference rooms in Guidance and in the Main Office will be used as well.
- All tests will be taken on school-issued Chromebooks.
Student Priorities Before the Test
- Practice MCAS test questions; practice tests
- There are two types -- one with a calculator and one without -- please practice both!
The Day of the Test
- Please make sure that you are well-rested, have a good breakfast, and report to school on time!
- Wear comfortable clothes.
- Arrive at your testing location on time and with a positive and productive mindset.
- Provide the best effort and work result possible, go after every point!
- Bring a book to read in case you finish early.
During the Test
- Know that electronic devices are not allowed.
- Cell phones must be off and stowed away (not on your person).
- Listen to the proctor's instructions, read all directions carefully, and ask questions if any directions are unclear.
- If you get stuck on any one item, skip it, you can bookmark it and return to it later.
- Read all questions carefully, and try to reread them, before answering.
- Check your answers for accuracy.
