PE/Wellness

Please know that we have been providing multiple student choices during our Fall units. To date, students have been able to select from units including Pickleball, Power Walking, Tennis Baseball, Flag Football, and Kickball. Next week, we will be introducing Ultimate Frisbee and Team Handball. Each class is a combination of all grade levels which helps enrich the socialization and collaboration of the student body. The majority of students are doing great! Just a friendly reminder that in order to earn full credit for a class, students must have athletic attire, including sneakers, and participate fully for the entire class. If anyone has a question about their grade, please reach out to the teacher at least one week before the term ends on Thursday, November 10th. Lastly, as a reminder, the PE/Wellness department uses Google Classroom as their primary means of communication; to join, please use the code: zikj7jk.

Bus Evacuation Drill

Thursday, October 27th

On Thursday morning, October 27th,  Ingle Bus Co. will be bringing multiple buses to HHS to conduct their yearly Bus Safety/Evacuation Drill. Beginning around 8:30 am, students will be asked to leave their classrooms by pod/floor and proceed to the outside of the building. They will then get on one of the buses provided, and the drivers will go over safety procedures from there. They will practice evacuating from the back of the bus, and return to their class from there. This is an annual procedure for Hanover Public Schools.

New Staff at HHS

HHS would like to introduce Ms. Cathy Wetherbee, special educator to our POST program. We have a new paraprofessional, Liam Sadek, who was a graduate of Hanover High School. The main office is excited to announce that we have a new administrative assistant, Mrs. Catherine Leahy, who will be assisting us with bookkeeping and student activity accounts.

Thank you, and I hope you all have a great weekend!
