Hanover High School News and Updates 11/6/20

Thanks for a wonderful week, and I hope you get a chance to enjoy the wonderful weather ahead! 

Before we officially depart for the week, I wanted to send a few quick points of information and some updates:

Picture (Retake) Day

• Picture retakes are being offered on Monday, November 9^th (Blue Cohort) and Thursday, November 12^th (Gold Cohort).  While we are categorizing this as a retake day, many students did not have their original pictures taken on September 8^th.  Having your child's picture taken is important for inclusion in the school yearbook and for student identification cards.  Pictures will be taken during Flex block on both days.  

Please see the following communication from Lifetouch to help you order your child's pictures.

Help us offer a SAFE, paperless, and 'contactless' school-picture day for everyone.  Order your photos online, and know that your student will not need to return any items to HHS on his/her school-picture day.

Yearbook and Picture Deadlines

• Attached, please find the letter that went out to all senior families regarding the yearbook and picture deadlines.  Yearbooks can be ordered online at https://yearbookforever.com.
• There is no school on Wednesday, November 11^th – Veterans Day. 
• Be on the lookout for a message from me revealing the 6 finalist mascot names.  We’ll be requesting logo submissions from the community in that same message.
