Hanover High School Open House for Current Grade 8 Students 12/8/23

Hanover High School will hold its Open House for next year’s incoming freshmen on Thursday, December 14, 2023, from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. All 8^th grade students and their families are invited to attend.  

• We will begin the Open House in the Auditorium at 6:00 pm, where you will be introduced to some of our staff, view a PowerPoint presentation that captures the vibrancy of student life at HHS, and listen to a few of our student leaders speak about their experiences here. 
• Students and their families will then be released from the auditorium into their assigned student-led tour groups that will travel throughout the building to several passport locations. At these locations, HHS students and staff will present speaking points about that area. Teachers will also be around the building to help answer any questions that you or your student may have.
• 8^th graders will be asked to get a “passport” stamp at each location they visit. Their completed passport will be placed in a raffle to win some Hawk Nation attire!
• Lastly, we always encourage each student at HHS to be “A Connected Student,” so we will conclude the night in our cafeteria, where many of our clubs, organizations, and activities will be on display for you to meet and greet members as well as advisors. Also, you will be able to speak with several of our coaches and players from our highly successful sports teams.
