Hanover High School SAT Offering 12/18/20

Hanover High School is excited to announce the opportunity for all juniors to take an Official SAT during the school day on Wednesday, March 24, 2021. The Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) School Day provides schools, districts, and states a way to offer the SAT to juniors in school, on a weekday, expanding access to a globally recognized college admission test that's accepted at all U.S. colleges. Over 3.7 million students in over 3,000 districts and 9,000 schools have participated in SAT School Day.

The SAT exam is not mandatory for juniors; rather, it’s offered on a volunteer basis. The exam will take place at Hanover High School and is approximately four hours long. To participate in the exam, students must complete the registration form below. After registering, students will receive a confirmation email in advance of the exam with test-day details.

To register, complete the SAT School Day Registration form

The cost of the SAT is $52.00 per student. If you would like to request a fee waiver, please indicate your request on the registration form.

To make a payment, please go to Hanover Public Schools Online Payments.

All students must register no later than January 25, 2021.

Additionally, Hanover High School is currently looking at creative ways to offer its students an opportunity to deepen their understanding of the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) and to improve performance on this assessment.  Stay tuned, more information to follow.
