Hanover High School Student Cohorts and Schedules Updates 8/31/20

We are finalizing preparations for the up-coming school year, and I wanted to reach out to let you know the status of our student schedules and their respective cohorts. 

We’ll be releasing cohort assignments later this afternoon.  Once received, please know that a tremendous amount of time and effort went into the arrangement of these cohorts, taking into consideration several variables and multifaceted circumstances.  Given the complexities of student scheduling, these cohorts have been all but finalized.  That said, should you have any questions or concerns regarding placement or arrangements, please reach out to Kathy Gallagher (kgallagher@hanoverschools.org), and we’ll address any issues on a case-by-case basis. 

Since cohorts are essentially complete, we can begin to finalize individual student schedules.  Later this afternoon, you’ll be able to view in Aspen basic scheduling information.  You’ll see our daily bell schedule, for instance, individual course requests, and a preliminary credit count.  Our counselors will be working with these course requests, and will be populating student schedules throughout the week.  Final student schedules will be published this Friday. 

As we finalize our academic placements and adjust student scheduling, please know these situations are fluid and will change throughout the week.  Please allow us the time to make these changes, and we’ll reach out next week should any questions or any scheduling issues remain.  As always, thank you for your much appreciate patience and understanding.
