Hanover High School Summer Update 8/8/23

I hope that you are all having a wonderful summer!

This is a quick note to introduce our new Special Education Administrator for grades 7-12, Dr. Joseph Pumphrey, who will maintain an office at Hanover High School while also spending time at Hanover Middle School. Dr. Pumphrey comes to us from Scituate High School, where he was a Special Education liaison for students with both moderate and severe disabilities. His focus has been on executive functioning and transition skills for students with disabilities and he completed his doctoral dissertation in this area through Northeastern University. While at Scituate High School, he coached freshman baseball, football, and indoor track. He is very excited to get started and be part of the team!

Welcome aboard Dr. Pumphrey!

As always, information regarding Fall athletic opportunities will be sent by Athletic Director, Scott Hutchison. Preliminary information can be accessed on the Athletics page of the Hanover High School website or you can contact Mr. Hutchison directly at shutchison@hanoverschools.org

Our first day of school will be Tuesday, September 5th!
