Hanover High School Teacher Conference Information 11/10/23

Parent/guardian and teacher conferences at Hanover High School are scheduled for next Thursday, November 16, 2023. The conferences are 5 minutes in length and available in the afternoon from 1:00-3:00 pm and in the evening from 6:00-8:00 pm.

• Booking Opens on Monday, November 13^th at 6:00 pm.
• Booking Closes on Wednesday, November 15^th at 8:00 am.

As you may know, once the application opens, the conference time slots are selected quickly, so it is important to test your account before Monday.

We have continued to make improvements to conference scheduling. This year, we have moved to a new platform powered by Halix.io – which also powers our HMS Conferences and FACE programming, so you may already be familiar with the new platform.

If you have NOT yet used the Halix platform, then you will NEED to create an account. When creating an account, you MUST use the email address that we have on file. This is the email address at which you receive School Messenger notices (like the email that you are reading now), as well as the email that is associated with your Aspen account, which allows you to see report cards. By the way, Term 1 Report Cards will be published on Monday afternoon.

Book Your Conference - Appointment Scheduling Portal

We ask that you create and test your Halix account at your earliest convenience. Please do this BEFORE the conference booking “goes live” on Monday, November 13^th at 6:00 pm.

After you enter your email address, you should receive a confirmation email with a verification code. Please refer to the attached PDF for specific directions to help you with Halix account creation. 

If you have any challenges with Halix account registration (e.g., you do not receive the verification code), please email me at mplummer@hanoverschools.org, and I will assist.

Once booking opens, if you cannot schedule a conference due to unavailability, please contact that teacher directly. Our teachers will make it a priority to communicate with you.
