Hanover High School Updates and Reminders 6/8/26
As we approach the conclusion of another successful school year, I would like to share several important reminders and updates regarding student safety, final exams, transportation, medication pick-up, and course scheduling. Please take a few moments to review the information below to ensure a smooth and successful end to the school year.
Cyber Sense Internet Safety Presentation
On Tuesday, June 9th, during 6th period, Hanover High School students will participate in an internet safety presentation titled "Cyber Sense," led by Plymouth County Assistant District Attorney Molly MacKinnon. The presentation addresses critical issues that can put young people at risk online, including digital footprints, anonymity, online predators, cyberbullying, and the legal implications associated with the misuse of emerging technologies such as deepfakes. By educating students about these topics, we hope to empower them to make informed decisions, protect themselves online, and navigate the digital world responsibly. Parents and guardians have the right to opt their child out of this presentation. If you do not wish for your child to participate, please contact the Hanover High School main office prior to the presentation. Attached to this email is a Parent Guide to Internet Safety, which includes additional information and resources to help families support safe and responsible technology use at home. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Sue Egan at [email protected]

Please be sure to make arrangements to pick up medications during school hours. Any medication remaining in the health office after June 23, 2026 will be discarded; this includes all unclaimed pills, inhalers, EpiPens®, as well as ointments and lotions. Please call the nurse’s office at 781-878-5450 ext. 7406 or email at [email protected], if you have any questions or need to make special arrangements.
Course Request Waiver Reminder
Students who requested courses that required a waiver should ensure that all required waiver paperwork has been submitted. If a required waiver was not received, your course schedule may be adjusted to reflect the courses for which you are eligible. If you are unsure whether you submitted the necessary paperwork or have questions about your course requests for next year, please see Ms. Herbowy as soon as possible.
Thank you for your support throughout the school year. We wish all of our students the very best as they finish the year strong and look forward to a safe, enjoyable, and well-deserved summer vacation.
Sincerely,
Matthew Plummer
