2019-2020 School Year Calendar

Although there are still a couple of months remaining in the present school year, our preparation for next year has already begun and we want to afford families and staff time to plan accordingly.  The 2019-2020 school year calendar was approved by the Hanover School Committee on March 13^th.  We are continuing to work with each school to finalize conference dates, open house dates, testing dates, etc.  As we get closer to finalizing all of these events, some of the half days may fluctuate, but no significant changes are expected.  

Below you will find a couple of scheduling highlights for next year:

September

• Tuesday, September 3^rd - First day for teachers and staff 
• Wednesday, September 4^th - First full-day for all students Gr. 1-12
• Friday, September 6^th - First day for kindergarten and preschool students

Mid-Year

• Tuesday, October 15^th - Staff Professional Development Day *No school for students
• Tuesday, November 26^th - Full-day for elementary students
• Wednesday, November 27^th - Half-day all schools *No lunch served
• Tuesday, March 3^rd - Presidential Primary: Staff Professional Development Day *No school for students

End of Year

• Friday, June 5^th - Hanover High School Graduation: Evening event
• Thursday, June 25^th - Tentative last day of school *Includes 5 snow days
