Children Ages 5-11 Vaccination Clinics Update 11/28/21
As some of you may know, the Town of Hanover 5 through 11-year-old COVID-19 vaccine clinic scheduled for December 1, 2021, was fully booked shortly after posting the initial registration. We are pleased to inform you that Brewster Ambulance has made an additional 150 doses of the Pfizer Vaccine available for children ages 5 through 11 for the vaccination clinics planned for:
- Dates: December 1, 2021 (first dose) and December 22, 2021 (second dose)
- Time: 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm
- Location: Council on Aging, 665 Center Street, Hanover, MA
Registration
A parent/guardian must attend with their child. To register for the clinic:
- Sign up for the Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic for 5 - 11 Years Old, December 1, 2021
- Download, print two copies of each, and complete both the registration form and the consent form (2 forms, both sides)
- Bring both forms to both clinics
- You will automatically be registered for the second dose clinic
Additional Information
Because the dose for 5 through 11-year-old children is smaller than for older children and adults, there will not be vaccines available for those 12 and older at this clinic.
The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recommends that all eligible children, 5 and older, get the COVID-19 vaccine as soon as they can. If you have any questions about the vaccine, please refer to the CDC website, the AAP website, or consult your child's healthcare provider.
