The Hanover Fire Department has asked us to share the following information:

The Town of Hanover Mobile Integrated Health program will have limited testing abilities over the Thanksgiving Holiday.  Hours will be as follows:

You may contact the Hanover Fire Department Emergency Communication Center at 781-826-3151, ext. zero.

  • Students, Faculty, and Staff (and their families) who have symptoms of COVID-19 should contact their Health Care Provider.
  • Students, Faculty, and Staff (and their families) who require a test should contact the Hanover Emergency Communications Center during the above hours.  A Paramedic with the Hanover Fire Department will contact you and determine if testing is appropriate and if so, will schedule a test according to availability.
  • If you have been informed that you have been or believe you may have been exposed to a person who has tested positive for COVID-19, you should contact your child’s School Nurse on Monday morning, November 30th.  Exposure to a person who has tested positive may necessitate you to quarantine and take a test for COVID-19. Your School Nurse will help determine the most appropriate time for testing and return to school. If you have additional questions or concerns over the holiday weekend, please contact your health care provider.
  • We ask that everyone continue to follow the guidelines of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts: wear a mask, wash your hands, social distance, avoid large crowds and stay home if you are ill or under a quarantine/isolation order.
  • Keep your cohorts small in your personal life.  Keeping the number of people you interact with small, including sports teams, will help to slow the spread of disease and also minimize the number of people who may be subject to quarantine.
  • If you are contacted by the Hanover Health Department, please follow their directions and be honest about who you have been in close contact with. Testing, isolation, quarantine, and contact tracing are some of the best tools we have right now to manage the spread of COVID-19. All of these measures will enable us to have the best possible chance of keeping the spread of disease in our community low, and our schools open.

Thank you for your continued help in managing the spread of COVID-19 in our community.

Have a very happy Thanksgiving.

Be well and stay safe!
