Inca Son Performances: January 12, 2007

The Hanover Foundation for Educational Enrichment and the Hanover Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency, sponsored two live musical performances by the internationally acclaimed group INCA SON at Hanover High School on January 12, 2007.

The group performed traditional music from the Andes of Peru and all of Latin America.  The musicians, led by Cesar Villalobos, rearranged the songs, that created a unique style with unique compositions.  INCA SON's purpose was to introduce and educate peoples to the riches of Andean culture.

The project was developed and produced by Mrs. Rita Silvia, World Languages Department Chair, Hanover High School.
