Hanover High School TLC

Therapeutic Learning Center

Program Description

The Therapeutic Learning Center (TLC) at Hanover High School provides educational services in a clinical milieu to students with special academic, behavioral, and emotional needs.  The TLC is a strength-based program structured to support students in reaching their full potential and achieving their overarching goals in school and in life.  Our team of committed staff are trained and empowered to provide each student with the support and guidance they need to better their personal, social, and academic skills.  The TLC provides its students with a safe, accepting, and positive environment built on respect and community.

The TLC delivers services with the help of expert consultants, who assist with the integration of best practices. Our consultative team works with administrators, social workers, and teachers to ensure that students' needs are being met throughout the school day.

The TLC offers a strong academic program with required course selections in core content areas.  Students earn an accredited high school diploma and are guided to appropriate post-secondary opportunities through our Transition Program.
